New project Finman aims to create a handbook for financial managers of European projects
Realisation: 2010-2012European projects are not only about planning the project activities but also how to manage projects from a financial point of view. Each project partner must be able to conduct effective internal financial reporting and help all partners to create a final report) in a given time.
FinMan aims to create an appropriate and effective financial management guide for the entire duration of the EU project in lifelong learning: from the final phase of project planning to final report for the European Commission.
The project also aims to improve efficiency and productivity of project management in organizations with a focus on lifelong learning (LLL) and equip workers in administration and finance European projects with necessary knowledge for successful project management.
Main objectives:
- Create a general framework for financial management of European projects in organizations for Lifelong Learning
- Develop and implement a training course on the theme of administrative and financial management of European projects
- Develop a financial guide
- Improve the exchange of materials, ideas and knowledge and collect existing documents and financial guide to the current "financial wizard"
- Promote good practices at European level in the field of administration and finance
Project goals of FinMan have specific outcomes and products:
- The financial wizard translated into all partner languages
- Grundtvig training course
- Web site translated into all partner languages
- Dissemination of materials in all partner languages
- Six local seminars
