DysVET
DysVET
  Realisation: 2012-2014

The DysVET project is a response to the problem of low dyslexia awareness in mainstream education, vocational training and the open labour market.

The main aim of the project is to raise the level of dyslexia awareness among trainers, teachers, tutors in VET, managers, employers, Human Resources personnel. The aim will be achieved by implementation of a system developed in the UK and transferred through the transfer of innovation to the Czech Republic as well as to Bulgaria and Poland. This system is designed for those who are not experts in dyslexia themselves – VET teachers, trainers, managers and human resources staff.

26.02.2014 Invitation to the pilot course

Definitions of dyslexia vary, but it is generally accepted as a specific learning difficulty which has a particular effect on reading and spelling ability irrespective of intelligence. With the right support, however, the learning can be made easier.

The DysVet project aims to establish an e-learning course which will equip teachers, tutors, trainers and employers with the knowledge they need to support a dyslexic individual who is in VET setting or at work place. The following questionnaire is an opportunity for you to indicate the knowledge that you already have with regards to dyslexia and vocational training, so the course can be designed to meet your needs. You can also express your interest in participating in the pilot course.
