GEBOL
  Realisation: 2011-2013

Getting European Business On-line (GEBOL) has two key aims. The first is to increase the number of businesses in the partner countries that can set up and manage their own web sites.

The second is to promote ECVET (European Credit Transfer System for Vocational Education and Training) compliant qualifications in the skills of setting up and maintaining a business web site. The two main transfers of innovation are “the Getting British Business On-line Concept” from Google (UK) and “the ITQ national vocational qualification” of the UK Sector Skills Council, ref. to the EQF (European Qualifications Framework). The project provides a pilot identifying SME´s in local areas and linking them to vocational training establishments where students are learning the IT user skills in owner managed businesses. Partners from UK, DE, ES, RO, BG, NL coordinated by CZ will supervise these students applying their learning to support development of web sites for the target beneficiaries, achieving sustainability by training the teachers as ITQ assessors. Skills will transfer from the learners to the owners and employees SME´s with ECVET methodology as the focus.

The meeting within the project GEBOL was held at PrimMat – SSŠP on 12th and 13th of April 2012

GEBOL (Getting European Business OnLine) is a project, funded by NAEP within the Transfer of innovation program. It has two main objectives:

  • increase the number of small enterprises that have kept web presentation
  • promotion of the European credit transfer system in vocational education

Projekt se prakticky realizuje při spolupráci drobných podnikatelů a žáků škol

The benefit for enterprisers is to obtain a web presentation for free, on the other side, the students will have the opportunity to get a certificate according to the European qualification frame work and test their skills in practice.

The meeting was to discuss the progression of the project, control outputs and publicity. The partners also had the opportunity to meet with the students that will create the web pages as well as the teachers that will lead and certificate the students. Important was also the presence of representatives of the employers – members of the regional Chamber of commerce in the North Moravia county and the chairman of UNIHOST – the Union of employers in tourism.
