CALDYS2

Realisation: 2010-2012

Learning foreign languages is very important for all. For success in school and the prospect of a career that large depends on knowledge of foreign languages. However, traditional learning methods are disadvantageous for students with dyslexia. They have difficulty reading and writing in their mother tongue, are therefore excluded from the lessons of another language due to prejudices about their abilities to learn new things.

The project will create 6 flexible game structures, which will be filled with specific content and there will be almost 200 games that support the teaching of English as a second language and aimed at developing problem areas of students with dyslexia.

The project is supported by the European Union and coordinated by the Newport University in Great Britain.

05.10.2011 Outputs from the conference CALDYS 2

On the occasion of the international project meeting CALDYS 2, which was held on the 29th of September in Prague, interested parties had an opportunity to attend a seminar focused on language learning for individuals with dyslexia, with the use of information technology.
