Euroface Consulting s.r.o. in cooperation with 10 EU Countries from December 2007 - November 2009 has recently completed the SET – Self Entrepreneurship Training for Trainersproject which was cofunded by the EU Executive Agency. Partners included Northern Ireland, Greece, France, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Estonia and Italy.

The programme aimed to develop an innovative training package in order to assist the training of entrepreneurs in EU countries.
The SET training course was developed and adapted through a number of activities involving trainers in the area of entrepreneurship over a two year period.  Activities included the following:

• Needs analysis via structured questionnaires
• Expert Evaluation from trainers in the area of entrepreneurship.
• Pilot testing of SET course contents in United Kingdom
• Pilot testing of SET course contents in Estonia
• G3 course testing of the SET course contents in Italy

These activities ensured that the end user of the training course (trainers in the area of entrepreneurship) were involved in all stages of course contents development so that our final course matches their needs and wants.  Using feedback and input from across the 10 partner countries ensured that the European dimension of the SET project. 

The SET partnership held a final conference in Budapest, Hungary in November 2009 in order to disseminate the SET final results.

The SET partnership is organizing a Final Conference that will take place in Budapest, Hungary, on the 24th of November 2009.

The main goal of this one-day event is to present and evaluate the SET course – Self entrepreneurship training for trainers, and to debate about possible ways of further implementing this course, both at a national and international level. The Final Conference will have the participation of trainers and trainees of the 2 editions of the SET course (Italy and Slovenia) and also of entrepreneurs, experts and other individuals connected to training in the area of entrepreneurship from different European countries. The official language of the conference is English.

We are pleased to invite you to Grundtvig In-Service Training Course SET.

SET – Self-Entrepreneurship Training for Trainers is a 24-month long project focused on entrepreneurship education for trainers. The SET project proposes to contribute to entrepreneurship education by identifying trainer’s requirements, identifying best practices, providing the necessary skills for entrepreneurship, proposing an innovative methodology for a Grundtvig training course and increasing awareness of entrepreneurship as a career opportunity.
The course contains these modules: Introduction, Didactical tools, Communication skills/Social skills, Engaging with different types of participants, Evaluation.
