Teachers Travel to Lithuania for Training in Digital Trends and Modern Pedagogy

Teachers

Ten secondary school teachers and vocational education trainers took part in a training course in Vilnius focused on digital and communication competencies for modern teaching, as part of the VOCA-CDI project. The aim was to test whether the course we are developing within the project responds to the current needs of educators and provides real value to them.

The programme combined technological trends—such as the practical use of visual communication tools and the integration of artificial intelligence into teaching—with psychological aspects of pedagogy, including student typology, fostering positive motivation, inclusive approaches, and active listening techniques for managing conflict situations. Participants were actively engaged in discussions and contributed significantly to the quality of the project through their experience and insights.
The programme was enriched by a visit to the host institution, Vilniaus paslaugų verslo profesinio mokymo centras, where we had the opportunity to observe practical training in graphic design, multimedia, fashion design, and visual merchandising.
The teachers are returning from the international training not only with new knowledge and skills, but above all with valuable experience gained from sharing best practices with Lithuanian and Czech colleagues—experience they now plan to actively apply in their work with students.
