Activities are focused on promoting work and family life reconciliation, supporting women in the leadership, and turning corporate culture into gender-friendly. After implementation of the recommendation, re-audit will take place in the companies.
The team collected information from employees and evaluated documents, public presentation, etc. The results are more than satisfactory, we managed to implement fundamental changes in companies. Despite restrictions on operations in some companies during government measures against the spread of COVID-19, the project was successful. The next phase is a re-audit, i.e. verification whether the equal opportunities measures are being applied in the participating companies.
According to the goals set at the beginning of the project, all individual measures were met. E.g. company HYDROMA spol. s r.o. piloted the operation of a staff incubator to prepare employees for career growth and included this strategy among the applicable guidelines. In the Borák Development company and in the Augustiniánský dům hotel, they launched the Trust Box and enabled employees to anonymously bring suggestions or draw attention to risks in the workplace. At PKS servis, they broke gender stereotypes in August 2020 by hiring a woman as a sales and technical representative. Dental Laboratory MUDr. Aleše Káňa has issued a Code of ethics, which expresses its values and obligations not only to their employees but to the outer world as well.
The Code of Ethics by MUDr. Aleš Káňa can be downloaded here.
The hydraulic industry is represented by HYDROMA, spol. s r.o. from Uherský Brod and PKS servis spol. s r.o. from Ostrava. In both companies, gender goals were set up and accepted as strategic documents. The gradual implementation of part-time jobs is considered to be a great success there.
From another field is a development company Borák Development s.r.o., which, after the first months of project implementation, presents its gender goals on its own website and promotes the creation of a gender-equitable working environment with its employees.
Hotel Augustián in Luhačovice is the fourth employer involved, who strives primarily to create good conditions for reconciling work and family life of employees. Dental Laboratory MUDr. Aleš Káňa in Brno is also an active employer in the promotion of gender equality and introduces two types of flexible working hours, which create a favorable environment for its current and future employees.
Gender expert from Euroface Consulting s.r.o. supports all involved employers in implementation of measures.
